Cultural Heritage and Identities of Europe’s Future (CHIEF) - Research Help Required

CHIEF are undertaking a research project which involves nine countries within and outside Europe and aims to understand how young people are engaging with meanings and forms of European cultural heritage in various educational contexts (e.g. school, civil society, family, peer groups and heritage sites) and whether this engagement leads to an increase in their cultural literacy, enabling their active cultural participation in society. The UK component of the research is based at Aston University and the University of Gloucestershire and is led by Dr Anton Popov (Aston University). Please

As part of the project they will be conducting some research in secondary schools – this UK aspect of this work involves conducting a questionnaire in 30 schools, with follow-up interviews with students and staff in a smaller sample of schools. Please refer to the attached letter for further information.
