Diversity of Religion and Belief Guidance and Resource Pack: Evaluation Survey

Around this time last year, I attempted to email every school in England to distribute a free 60-page PDF guidance and resource pack on Diversity of Religion and Belief, developed at Cardiff University. I am now contacting schools again to ask if they would be willing to complete a short survey to tell me what they thought about the pack and if/how it has made any difference to practice on the ground. I would be very grateful if you would be willing to distribute the survey amongst schools in your local area, to ensure that as many schools as possible have the opportunity to complete it. You are also welcome to complete the survey too if you have knowledge about the pack’s reception in schools.

As a reminder, I’ve included a link here to the original PDF guidance and resource pack: http://orca.cf.ac.uk/110147/The pack aims to bring together relevant policy frameworks, academic research and good practice into a single document in order to provide schools with the tools to create an environment that recognises and values diversity of religion and belief, as well as deliver good quality RE and PSHE that promotes interfaith respect and understanding.

The survey takes around 10 minutes to complete and responses are recorded anonymously. Participation in the survey is highly valued but is of course voluntary and respondents may withdraw at any point by closing the browser. The results will be used to feed into any future editions of the pack and/or other related publications and resources for schools. The survey will close at the end of July.
